Ana de Fontecha (Madrid, 1990).
Graduate in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. She completed a year of her training at the Université Paris-8 Saint Denis, Paris. She furthered her training with a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture at the MNCARS, specialising in criticism. She has been able to share her work from the research residency Estudio Busca Talento at Matadero Madrid and during PhEstudios in the programme of PHE 2015. He has participated in exhibitions at the Sala de Arte Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid, Sala CArteC of the UCM, Sala Amadís, Madrid, Centro de Arte Laboral, Gijón, and Sala Borrón, Oviedo, among other public spaces. His work has been awarded with the Ayudas a la Creación Contemporánea del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Circuitos Artes Plásticas de la Comunidad de Madrid, Injuve and the Premio Joven Complutense among others. He is currently continuing his studies as part of the Master’s Degree in Contextual Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven, Holland.
